About this site
Hirasawa Kamejima Oki (平沢・亀島沖) is a boat-dive site within the Hirasawa Beach area in front of the marine centre at Hirasawa, Numazu, on the west coast of the Izu Peninsula in Shizuoka, with a maximum depth of 23 m, suitable from beginner level with slight current at times. Conditions are almost always calm, which makes it a good first boat dive and a site for advanced and speciality boat courses. The descent line is anchored at 8 m, and deeper water is reached within a short distance.
