Jardin del Eden is a cenote dive site in Mexico, forming part of the extensive underwater cave and cavern systems found along the Yucatán Peninsula. Like other cenotes in the region, it is a natural freshwater sinkhole connected to the submerged limestone cave network beneath the jungle.
The bottom type at Jardin del Eden is cave, and the site is considered a beginner-level dive, making it one of the more accessible cenote experiences available to open-water certified divers. An Open Water Diver certification or equivalent is the minimum requirement to dive here.
Visibility at Jardin del Eden is great, which is characteristic of the clear freshwater conditions found in well-known cenote systems and allows divers to appreciate the cave formations throughout the dive.
