Kihaa Rock lies near Kihaadhoo island in Baa Atoll, on the western side of the Maldivian archipelago. Baa Atoll is a UNESCO biosphere reserve known for its channels and reef systems, and sites near Kihaadhoo are typically reached by dhoni from resorts and local guesthouses within the atoll. Divers have reported mantis shrimp tucked into the rock's crevices and nurse sharks resting nearby.
