About this site
Koh Talang lies in the Andaman Sea off Satun province in southern Thailand, near Tarutao National Marine Park, close to the maritime border with Malaysia. The island sits among a cluster of granite formations in this part of the archipelago that draw divers based out of Satun and nearby Koh Lipe. The Steps site here is a reef dive reaching a maximum depth of around 12 metres and is rated suitable for beginners. Divers have also reported barracuda and sweetlips around the reef.
