About this site
Kurama Ne (クラマ根) is a pinnacle site off Miyakejima in the Izu Islands, Tokyo, with a large crater whose exit forms an arch. Around the arch are colonies of spiny lobster and porcupinefish. Jack mackerel, batfish, triggerfish, sea turtles, marbled rays, large schools of takabe and mackerel scad are typical.
