About this site
Kuroshima Kita (黒島北) is a wall site in a bay on the north side of Kuro Island in the Kerama Islands, Okinawa, with a maximum depth beyond 30 m on the outer drop-off and about 15 m on the shallow side. Mixed corals cover the shelf top, one area is carpeted with anthias, and a channel gives the feeling of climbing a rock face. Large fish and pelagics are common, and current can be strong at times. Suitable from beginner level.
