About this site
Kuroshima Minami (黒島南) is a reef site in a bay on the south side of Kuro Island in the Kerama Islands, Okinawa, with a maximum depth of 28 m. Near the island the bottom is boulders cut by several seaward grooves, while the outer side carries mixed corals with yellow-spotted and Amami damselfish. Current is usually slight but can be strong at certain times; suitable from beginner level.
