About this site
La Laguna Point sits along the coastline of Puerto Galera on the northern coast of Mindoro, a dive hub reached from the Luzon mainland by boat across the Verde Island Passage. The area is known for its many named entry points along the shore rather than any single wreck or wall feature. This particular site is a reef dive to around 20 metres, rated beginner, with light current and good visibility. Divers regularly find frogfish, lionfish, nudibranchs, octopus, and scorpionfish among the reef, and there have also been reports of bannerfish, batfish, clownfish, napoleon wrasse, parrotfish, pufferfish, snapper, sweetlips, and triggerfish here.
