About this site
Wolf Island sits in the far north of the Galapagos archipelago, a remote volcanic outcrop reached only by liveaboard after a long crossing from the central islands. La Ventana is one of the dive sites along its coastline, named for a rock formation with an opening that divers pass through or near. The waters around Wolf Island are exposed to open ocean swell and current, which is part of why the site draws boats willing to make the crossing.
