About this site

Luca Sanctuary sits along the Dauin coastline of Negros Oriental, on the southeastern side of Negros Island in the Visayas region of the Philippines. This stretch of coast facing the Bohol Sea is known for its black sand muck diving sites, typically reached by small boat from resorts along the shore. The site itself has a sand bottom and is rated a beginner dive. Clownfish, frogfish, grouper and snapper are all found here, and divers have also reported moray eels and stingrays on the sand.
