About this site

Sahara Reef sits off Negros Oriental in the Philippines, in the waters of the Bohol Sea known for reef diving along the Dumaguete and Dauin coastline. The site reaches a maximum depth of around 20 metres over reef terrain and is generally rated an intermediate dive. Divers here have reported ghost pipefish and seahorses tucked into the reef, along with sightings of leopard sharks, Napoleon wrasse, and trevally passing through.
