About this site

Bankawreck lies off Dauin on the southeast coast of Negros Oriental, in the same stretch of black sand coastline facing the Bohol Sea across from Apo Island that the area's muck and reef sites are known for, typically reached by a short outrigger boat ride from resorts based in the town. The wreck reaches a maximum depth of around 30 metres and is rated an advanced dive. Divers have reported frogfish and seahorses on the site, in keeping with the muck-diving character of the surrounding area.
