About this site
Marsa Moren lies along the Red Sea coast in the Qoseir area of Egypt's Red Sea Governorate, south of the town of Qoseir itself, in one of the sheltered fringing reef bays, or marsas, typical of this stretch of shore. The site sits over a reef bottom with a maximum depth of around 19 metres, making it a beginner dive. Scorpionfish are a regular find here, and divers have also reported angelfish, bannerfish, clownfish, eagle rays, grouper, nudibranchs, triggerfish, and wrasse on the reef.
