Sharm Shoona lies along Egypt's Red Sea coast, in the same stretch of shoreline as the Marsa Alam diving area. It sits over a reef bottom with a maximum depth of around 14 metres, making it a beginner-friendly dive. Divers here have reported clownfish, moray eels, octopus, nudibranchs, pipefish, sea turtles, and even dugong sightings on the reef.
