About this site
Dublon Island lies in Chuuk Lagoon, part of the Faichuk group in the Federated States of Micronesia, an area once used as a major Japanese naval base during the Second World War. The lagoon around the island is scattered with wartime wrecks and reef areas reached by small boat from Weno. Dublon itself sits toward the southern part of the lagoon's main cluster of islands.
