About this site

The Emily Flying Boat lies in Micronesia's waters, resting at a maximum depth of around 15 metres, which keeps it accessible as a beginner-level dive. The site is a Japanese seaplane wreck of the type that saw wide use across the Pacific during the Second World War, and Micronesia's lagoons hold a number of such aircraft and ship remains from that period. Given the shallow depth here, divers can spend extended time examining the airframe.
