Mosquera Islet

Mosquera Islet is a small, flat sandy islet in the channel between Baltra and North Seymour, in the northern part of the Galapagos archipelago off Santa Cruz Island. It is a low-lying strip of sand and volcanic rock rather than a proper island, known on the surface for its sea lion colony. The dive site sits over a sand bottom to a maximum depth of around 20 metres, with medium current, and is rated a beginner dive. Eagle rays, garden eels, hammerhead sharks, and manta rays are found here, and divers have also reported reef sharks passing through.
