About this site
Seymour North is a dive site off North Seymour Island in the Galápagos archipelago of Ecuador, in the waters northeast of Santa Cruz Island. It reaches a maximum depth of around 18 metres, is considered an intermediate dive, and runs with medium current. Garden eels dot the sandy patches, and hammerhead sharks and manta rays are regularly seen passing through. Divers have also reported barracuda, eagle rays, nudibranchs, octopus, snapper, and even whales at the site.
