Museum of Underwater Art (Moua) at John Brewer Reef

The Museum of Underwater Art sits at John Brewer Reef, off Townsville on Queensland's Great Barrier Reef coast, reached by boat from the mainland. It combines submerged sculpture installations, including the well known Coral Greenhouse, with the surrounding reef structure, designed to give coral and marine life a base to colonise over time. The project is part of a wider series of underwater art installations along the Queensland coast intended to draw divers and snorkelers to reef sites while easing pressure on more heavily visited areas. It is rated a beginner dive, making it accessible to divers of most experience levels visiting the reef.
