About this site
Nagasaki no To (長崎の塔) is a boat-dive reef off Yoron Island in Kagoshima Prefecture, about 5 minutes from Tomori harbour, with current ranging from weak to strong. Three rock pillars rise from the edge of a rock shelf, the outermost resembling a human profile, and arches and tunnels allow several different routes. Hundreds of anthias school around the pillar at 5 m, and dogtooth tuna, bigeye trevally and giant trevally are regularly encountered along with butterflyfish, angelfish and hawkfish.
