About this site
Nev's Ledge lies off Durban, on South Africa's KwaZulu-Natal coast along the Indian Ocean, and like other sites in this stretch it is typically reached by boat from Durban's harbour area out to the reef and ledge formations along the coastline. The site sits over a reef bottom to a maximum depth of around 22 metres and is rated a beginner dive. Divers have reported clownfish, grouper, nudibranchs, octopus, and scorpionfish here, along with occasional hammerhead shark sightings.
