About this site
This reef site sits off Cancun on the Yucatan Peninsula, in the Mexican Caribbean waters of Quintana Roo, part of the barrier reef system that runs along much of the Riviera Maya, with dive operators based in Cancun running boats out to the nearby reef breaks. The site reaches a maximum depth of around 16 metres. Divers have also reported reef sharks here.
