About this site
Grampin sits off Cancun on the Caribbean coast of Quintana Roo, part of the Yucatan Peninsula's fringing reef system, reached by a short boat run from the city's marinas. The reef bottom here tops out around 17 metres and is rated an intermediate dive due to medium current. Eagle rays, nurse sharks, and parrotfish are regular sightings on the reef, and divers have also reported barracuda, butterflyfish, damselfish, grouper, snapper, and wrasse moving through the same waters.
