About this site
North Point lies off the coast of northern Costa Rica, in the vicinity of the Papagayo Peninsula and Guanacaste province along the Pacific side of the country. This stretch of coastline is known for rocky headlands and volcanic seabed formations typical of the region's dive areas, reached by boat from nearby coastal towns. The site reaches a maximum depth of around 33.5 metres and is rated a beginner dive. Divers have reported eagle rays, manta rays, and octopus around the reef here.
