About this site
North Reef lies at the outer edge of Midway Atoll, part of the Papahanaumokuakea Marine National Monument in the Northwestern Hawaiian Islands. The atoll sits far out in the central Pacific, and its surrounding reef structure faces open ocean swell coming from the north.
