About this site
North Seymour Island lies just north of Baltra in the Galápagos archipelago, off Ecuador's Pacific coast, along a volcanic, current-influenced stretch of the central Galápagos platform. Boats reach the site from Baltra or Santa Cruz as part of day trips through the central islands, and it is one of the dive sites frequently paired with the island's well known land-based wildlife tours. The dive reaches a maximum depth of around 18 metres, and it is rated advanced, consistent with the current-driven conditions typical of this part of the archipelago.
