About this site
Nakanoshima (中之島) is a boat-dive pinnacle at Onagawa on the Sanriku coast of Miyagi, with a maximum depth of 18 m and an average around 8–12 m. The terrain is dramatic rock, and lumpfish, blennies and schools of rockfish are observed around it.
