About this site
Oruhae (オルハエ) is a boat dive at Susami on the Kii Peninsula in Wakayama, five minutes from the harbour, with a maximum depth of 30 m and an average around 15 m. Pineconefish can be seen in the deeper part all year, a tunnel holds semicircle angelfish and emperor angelfish, and the reef near the anchor has nudibranchs and blennies, with opaleye, chicken grunt and cardinalfish around. Little current, suitable from beginner level.
