About this site
Kojakushi (コジャクシ) is a boat dive at Susami on the Kii Peninsula in Wakayama, about ten minutes from the harbour, with a maximum depth of 28 m and an average around 13 m. Anemones with anemonefish are dotted over the top and base of the reef, and from early summer to autumn pelagic fish such as amberjack, rainbow runner and threadfin trevally appear regularly. Harlequin shrimp and fire dartfish are among the smaller residents. Slight current, suitable from beginner level.
