About this site
Paradise is a dive site off Cano Island, within the biological reserve that sits off Costa Rica's Osa Peninsula on the Pacific coast. Like other sites around the island, it is typically reached by boat from Drake Bay or Uvita on the mainland, over the rocky reef terrain the reserve is known for. The site reaches a maximum depth of around 20 metres and is rated an intermediate dive. Divers have reported barracuda, jacks and amberjacks, and snapper here.
