Pedra Perdida lies off the coast of Terceira, one of the volcanic islands of the Azores archipelago in the mid-Atlantic, part of Portugal. Dive sites along this stretch of the coast are typically reached by boat from harbors on the island and are shaped by the volcanic origins of the island chain.
