Pole Pole Mountain is a wall dive off Pemba Island, on the Tanzanian side of the Pemba Channel, a stretch known for steep drop-offs into deep water. Reached by boat from towns such as Chake Chake or Wete, the site is rated advanced and reaches a maximum depth of around 30 metres, with visibility generally reported as great. Divers here have reported fusiliers, grouper, leaf scorpionfish, lionfish, mantis shrimp, humphead wrasse, nudibranchs, parrotfish, pufferfish, scorpionfish, trevally, triggerfish, and unicornfish along the wall.
