About this site
This dive spot off El Hiero offers dramatic volcanic formations with caves, arches, and swim-throughs. Strong currents attract large pelagics like rays and tuna, while resident angel sharks rest on sandy patches. Crystal-clear Atlantic waters provide excellent visibility year-round. The steep drop-off plunges into the deep blue, creating thrilling drift dives. Unique black coral gardens thrive here, rare in the Canaries. Advanced divers love the adrenaline, but sheltered areas suit intermediates too. Expect encounters with curious barracuda and colorful Canarian marine life.
