About this site
Ribbon Reef No. 3 is part of the Ribbon Reefs chain on the outer edge of the Great Barrier Reef, off the coast of far north Queensland, Australia. This section of the outer reef is reached mainly by liveaboard trips out of Cairns or Port Douglas, sitting well beyond the inshore reef systems near the continental shelf.
