About this site
Rock Point East lies off the eastern shore of Apo Island, a small volcanic island in Dauin municipality, Negros Oriental, in the Visayas region of the Philippines. The island sits in the Bohol Sea and is reached by outrigger boat from the mainland town of Dauin or from Dumaguete City. The site sits over a reef bottom to a maximum depth of around 24 metres and is rated a beginner dive. Divers have reported frogfish, nudibranchs, octopus, and sweetlips here, along with occasional sea snakes.
