About this site
Sakune Higashi (サクネ東) is a boat-dive site off Enoshima on the Shonan coast of Kanagawa, with a maximum depth of 14 m and an average around 12 m, intermediate and above. The terrain is an intricate mix of canyons and overhangs, too extensive to cover in a full day of diving. The rock is thick with sea fans and coral and holds Asian sheepshead wrasse, parrotfish, morwong, angelfish and rockfish alongside macro subjects such as juvenile cleaner wrasse and blennies.
