About this site
Nagaiso (ナガイソ) is a boat-dive site off Enoshima on the Shonan coast of Kanagawa, with a maximum depth of 16 m, for advanced divers. Large rock formations are scattered over a 16 m bottom; electric rays are found between them, and the sand further south holds snake eels and pipefish. The usual route rounds the southernmost rock and returns north through the 5 m mid-water above a garden-like reef, a long circuit that suits divers with good air consumption, and larger pelagics appear because the site sits some way off the island.
