Salomon

Salomon is one of the well known dive sites at Malpelo Island, a remote volcanic outcrop in the eastern Pacific off the coast of Colombia. The site is best known for large numbers of hammerhead sharks, along with silky sharks and other pelagics that pass through the strong currents around the island's rocky structure. Depths and conditions vary with the terrain and current, and the strong currents typical of Malpelo make this an advanced dive site suited to experienced divers. Malpelo itself is reached only by liveaboard, given its distance from the mainland, and diving here centers on drift dives along rock walls and pinnacles rather than reef structures.
