About this site
Samran Pinnacle lies off the coast of Thailand, in waters near Koh Samui in the Gulf of Thailand based on its coordinates. The site reaches a maximum depth of around 18 metres over a rocky bottom and is generally considered an intermediate dive. Divers have reported barracuda, clownfish, fusiliers, grouper, snapper, trevally, and even whale sharks passing through, and fishing nets have also been noted as a hazard at the site.
