Sail Rock

Sail Rock, known locally as Hin Bai, is a pinnacle dive site in the Gulf of Thailand off Surat Thani province, situated between Koh Phangan and Koh Tao. The rock breaks the surface and drops down as an underwater pinnacle with a vertical swim-through chimney that divers can ascend through, reaching a maximum depth of around 45 metres and rated an advanced dive. It is one of the more recognized sites in this part of the Gulf and is regularly visited on boat trips from both Koh Tao and Koh Phangan. Whale sharks are among the pelagic species divers hope to encounter here, alongside the reef fish typical of Gulf of Thailand pinnacles.
