About this site
Sarah's Place lies along the coast of Dauin in Negros Oriental, part of the black sand muck diving stretch on Negros Island's southeast shore facing the Bohol Sea. This area is typically dived from small bancas launched from resorts along the Dauin coastline. The site reaches a maximum depth of around 26 metres over a sandy reef bottom, and divers have reported a wide range of muck-diving finds here, including frogfish, ornate ghostpipefish, seahorses, snapper, and an array of nudibranchs such as Anna's Chromodoris, Crested Nembrotha, Dusky Nembrotha, Lined Nembrotha, Miller's Nembrotha, Mourning Dorid, and Indian Caloria.
