About this site
Layang Layang is an isolated atoll in the South China Sea, off Sarawak in Malaysian Borneo, reached mainly by air and boat from the mainland due to its remote position far from the coast. Sharks Cave sits along the atoll's fringing reef drop-off, one of several named dive sites around this ring-shaped island. It reaches a maximum depth of around 28 metres and is rated an intermediate dive. Divers have also reported angelfish and fusiliers around the site.
