About this site

Siaes Corner sits along the outer reef of Palau's Rock Islands, on a wall in the country's southwest lagoon area that drops off into deep water. It is a current-swept corner where divers hook into the reef to watch the action in the blue, with a maximum depth of around 25 metres and a difficulty rating of advanced. Divers here have reported barracuda, butterflyfish, fusiliers, trevally, reef sharks, and hammerheads, along with occasional sightings of tiger sharks and whale sharks passing the point. Because of the current and drift nature of the dive, it remains a site worked mostly by experienced divers along the upper section of the wall.
