About this site
SMS Cöln lies in Scapa Flow off the coast of Orkney, Scotland, one of the German High Seas Fleet warships scuttled there in 1919. The wreck sits at a maximum depth of around 25 metres and is considered an intermediate dive. Scapa Flow's sheltered waters hold several of these scuttled fleet wrecks, making the area a well known cluster of World War One naval history beneath the surface.
