About this site
SMS König lies in Scapa Flow, off the northern coast of Scotland in the United Kingdom, among the natural harbor's scuttled German High Seas Fleet wrecks from 1919. She was a König-class battleship of that fleet, deliberately sunk by her own crew rather than handed over to the Allies. The wreck sits at a maximum depth of around 25 metres and is considered an advanced dive.
