St Crispin Reef

St Crispin Reef is an outer ribbon reef on the Great Barrier Reef, reached by boat from Port Douglas or Cairns off the coast of Far North Queensland. It offers a mix of coral bommies, swim-throughs, and sloping walls that drop into deeper water along the reef edge, with depths commonly ranging from around 5 to 25 metres. Divers and snorkelers visiting this section of the outer reef typically encounter a variety of hard and soft coral formations along with reef fish life associated with this part of the ribbon reef system. Conditions can vary with tide and season, and the site is generally included as one stop on multi-site day trips to this outer reef area.
