Gone Again lies on the Great Barrier Reef off the coast of Queensland, in the reef system north of Cairns. Sites in this stretch of the Ribbon Reefs and Outer Reef area are typically accessed by liveaboard or day boat out of Cairns or Port Douglas. Divers here have reported a mix of reef fish including bicolor chromis, bird wrasse, dusky surgeonfish, Indian bullethead parrotfish, Indian redfin butterflyfish, and several damsel species such as jewel, scaly, speckled, and spiny chromis, along with swarthy parrotfish moving over the reef structure.
