About this site

Stingray Point sits off Perhentian Kecil, one of the two main islands in the Perhentian group off the northeast coast of Terengganu in Malaysia. The islands are ringed by granite headlands and coral patches typical of this part of the South China Sea, reached by boat from jetties on the island or from the mainland town of Kuala Besut. The site is a reef dive reaching around 30 metres and is rated advanced. Divers have also reported nurse sharks, tiger sharks, and trevally here.
