About this site
Just off Long Caye in Lighthouse Reef, this site dazzles with towering elk horn coral formations, some reaching 10 feet high. Schools of grunts and snappers weave through the dense coral forest while eagle rays glide overhead. The shallow depth and calm conditions make it ideal for beginners, yet the vibrant marine life keeps advanced divers coming back. Visibility often exceeds 100 feet, revealing a thriving ecosystem of sponges, parrotfish, and occasional reef sharks. The coral's intricate branches create endless nooks for critters like lobsters and moray eels. A must-dive for coral lovers.
