About this site
The Magnet lies off Lombok in West Nusa Tenggara, part of the string of sites along the island's coast within the wider Bali Sea and Lombok Strait diving area. Boats reach it from nearby coastal dive bases on Lombok. It is rated a technical dive reaching depths of around 80 metres, with strong current running through the site. Divers have reported barracuda, batfish, hammerhead sharks, and manta rays here, drawn in part by the current sweeping across the reef.
